Our Iron Goddess Oolong Tea Powder is made from the renowned Tieguanyin oolong tea (i.e.the literate translation of which is Iron Goddess) from Taiwan. Famous for its deep, roasted aroma, it’s perfect to add in your afternoon latte, sweets, or smoothie. Oolong tea is made from semi-oxidized leaves that have a delicate manufacturing process, including stages of withering, rolling, shaping and firing. As a result, oolong tea offers a wide range of various aromas, from the milky Jin Xuan oolong, the fresh and floral Bao Zhong oolong, and the roasted, nutty Iron Goddess Oolong oolong.

Oolong tea contains rich antioxidants in the form of polyphenols & catechins, which might help lower inflammation and antioxidant activities. It also has theanine, an amino amino acid responsible for the tea’s relaxing effect.

In general, Oolong tea has less than 60% caffeine of coffee. Due to the versatility of its flavors, particularly the roasted, nutty Iron Goddess Oolong, Oolong tea has become a popular replacement for coffee.
